project overview
Project
A new chain of beauty salons has opened in Dubai and Poland—
without a name or identity yet, but with great ambition to stand
out in the beauty market
goal
To make a strong statement from the start, the client came to
FANDS for naming and a visual concept for the network
Solution
How we did it

While developing the creative concept, we faced a challenge: to unite salons
in two completely different locations—Warsaw and Dubai—with a single
theme. That's how the idea came about: firstly, one city lacks sun, while the
other has an infinite amount. Secondly, the design of the space itself already
evoked warm themes: the salon interior features rounded walls and a light interior
Next, we began naming. We weren't rushing to simply add the
word 'Sun' to the name. Such names already exist in all languages, and they wouldn't help build
a strong brand. Then we continued our research and learned that in eastern
Nepal, the sun is called Sanhe. By adding the client's initials SS-, we created
a new name for the beauty salon chain—SANSHÈ
Challenges we faced

Sunshine. She. These words resonate with each other to convey the
brand's intended meanings and values: every woman who walks into the
salon is bright, sunny, and beautiful on the inside
This concept was also reflected in SANSHÈ's branding. We created a logo,
color palettes, and graphic elements that support the theme of sunshine
and endless summer. We demonstrated how the identity would work on
certificates, gift bags, and other salon merchandise
how we solved it
Results

The new branding gave the salons a strong and memorable presence from day one, setting them apart from
generic competitors
The cohesive system works consistently across touchpoints — from
interior elements to packaging, certificates, and digital communication
creating a warm, recognizable experience for every client
